This year, our Foundation is celebrating its fifth anniversary.
The Foundation is driven by an old Korean proverb, “Jultakdongsi,” which means that the chick and the hen must peck from both sides of the eggshell to help the chick enter this world safely. As it has done over the past five years, the Foundation promises to do its absolute best in creating a culture and tourism environment that can satisfy the needs of the general public and artists across Jeollabuk-do.
Furthermore, by establishing a clearer role and identity for itself, the Foundation will mature further into a specialized institution, make culture a part of people real lives, improve the welfare and rights of artists, integrate and combine cultural and tourism concepts in light of the 4th industrial revolution, and facilitate the coexistence of corporations and culture/art organizations through MECENAT activities.
